My yoga journey began around 13 years ago when a friend recommended attending a class. I was pursuing a career as a dancer at the time and struggling with (in other words ignoring) various injuries that had developed over the years. I intended to find a ‘quick fix’ that would have me spring back into performing with ease. I know it’s such a cliché but my life really did change after that first yoga class and led to a lifelong passion of mine.
I discovered not only the physical benefits of the practice but the energy within and the power of breath to establish the mind/body connection. I was battling with mental health issues during this time and I had never allowed myself time to look inside myself and slow down. Once and I was able to shift my intention from the physical to the psychological and spiritual aspects of yoga, my practice deepened and it became an integral part of my life.
Since completing my first TT in 2015 I have continued to immerse myself in many different courses to further my knowledge, stay inspired and offer the best classes possible to my students.
My classes are taught from the heart and known for their graceful, dynamic and creative sequencing. They are adventurous yet nurturing so varying abilities can practise together safely and with confidence.
